Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Global Deals Direct handles personal information when you browse our sites, contact us, request support or buy a product.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, order reference, delivery address, messages you send us, product interactions and technical information such as browser/session data used for security and basic analytics.
Payments
Card payment details are processed by Stripe when Stripe Checkout is used. We do not store full payment card numbers on Product Radar or Global Deals Direct. Stripe may process information under its own privacy terms.
Why we use information
- to provide products, process orders and support fulfilment;
- to respond to enquiries, refund requests and customer-service issues;
- to prevent fraud, keep records and operate our services safely;
- to understand product performance and improve the website;
- to measure advertising and marketing performance where tracking tools are enabled;
- to meet legal, accounting and regulatory requirements.
Analytics and advertising technologies
We may use analytics, tag-management and advertising technologies to understand how public pages are used and to measure marketing performance. These tools may use cookies, device/browser identifiers, page URLs and interaction data. Product pages may use a product-specific Meta Pixel where a separate measurement setup has been configured.
Suppliers and service providers
Some products may be fulfilled by third-party suppliers. Where necessary to fulfil an order, relevant delivery details may be shared with the supplier or logistics provider. We may also use service providers for payments, email, hosting and analytics. We only intend to share information needed for the relevant service.
International handling
Some suppliers and service providers may operate outside Australia. Where this occurs, information may be processed or accessed in other countries as part of payment, hosting, fulfilment or support.
Retention and security
We keep order and support records for as long as reasonably needed for fulfilment, customer service, accounting, dispute handling and legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Access, correction and questions
You can contact us at [email protected] to ask a privacy question or request access/correction where applicable.
Updates
We may update this policy as our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
